Carpooling in Accra: common questions
- What is G-Pool?
- G-Pool is GoZi’s carpooling service. Drivers already making a trip list their empty seats, and passengers heading the same way book a seat and share the cost.
- How much does a G-Pool seat cost?
- The driver sets a price per seat for each trip. Seats on current commuter routes set by each driver, and every trip shows its price before you book.
- How do I book a seat?
- Search by pickup or destination, pick a trip with open seats, and choose how many seats you need. You get a booking reference right away.
- Can I offer a ride on G-Pool?
- Yes. Switch to “Offer a ride”, enter your route, date, time, available seats and price per seat, and your trip appears in search for other riders.
- Where does G-Pool operate?
- G-Pool currently covers commuter routes in and around Accra, such as Madina, Kasoa, Spintex, Circle, Osu and Kotoka International Airport.
