Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. They explain how GoZi works, and the responsibilities of customers, partners and GPMS.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the GoZi website, applications and related services (the “Platform”). GoZi is operated by Green Paradise Mobility Services (GPMS), a business registered in Ghana (“GPMS”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account, submitting a booking or request, or registering as a service provider, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. GoZi’s role as a marketplace

GoZi is a technology marketplace. It connects customers with independent service providers (“Partners”), including vehicle owners, professional drivers, G-Pool drivers and motorbike riders.

  • Unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular booking, GPMS does not own the vehicles listed or employ the Partners who provide services.
  • Each service is supplied by the relevant Partner, who is responsible for providing it lawfully, safely and as described.
  • GPMS facilitates bookings, communication, reviews of Partner applications and, where available, payments.

Where a vehicle or service is provided directly by GPMS, we will make that clear at the time of booking, and these Terms apply to GPMS as the service provider for that booking.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, rent a vehicle or register as a Partner.
  • You must give accurate, current information and keep your login details confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate trip, contact and identification details when making a request.
  • Treat Partners, their vehicles and other passengers with respect.
  • Be ready at the agreed time and place, and follow reasonable safety instructions from the Partner.
  • Do not carry or ask a Partner to carry anything illegal, dangerous or prohibited.
  • Pay the confirmed price for the services you receive.

5. Service-provider responsibilities

Partners are independent businesses or individuals, not employees, agents or representatives of GPMS. Partners must:

  • Hold and maintain every licence, registration, roadworthiness certificate and insurance required by Ghanaian law for the service they provide.
  • Provide accurate information in their application and keep it up to date.
  • Provide services safely, professionally and in line with the confirmed booking.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including road traffic regulations and tax obligations.
  • Not solicit customers met through GoZi to transact off-platform in a way that avoids GoZi bookings or fees.

GPMS reviews Partner applications before approval. Review is based on the information and documents provided to us and does not guarantee a Partner’s conduct, qualifications or the condition of any vehicle at all times.

6. Booking and confirmation

When you submit a booking or request, you receive a GoZi reference (for example, GZ-CR-7KQ2MX) and the booking shows as Pending Confirmation. A request is not a confirmed booking.

A booking is confirmed only when GoZi or the relevant Partner confirms it to you, including the final price. Availability shown on the Platform, and any recommendation from Ask GoZi, is a guide only and is not a guarantee.

7. Cancellation

  • You may cancel a pending request at any time free of charge by contacting us with your reference.
  • Cancellation of a confirmed booking may attract a fee, which will be communicated to you at confirmation. Fees may vary by service, Partner and notice period.
  • GoZi or a Partner may cancel a booking where the service cannot be safely or lawfully provided, where information provided is false, or for reasons outside their control. If we cancel a confirmed booking you have paid for, you will receive a refund in line with section 10.

8. No-show

If you are not at the agreed pickup point within a reasonable waiting time (as communicated at confirmation), the booking may be treated as a no-show and a no-show fee may apply. If a Partner fails to arrive, contact us immediately — we will try to arrange an alternative or cancel the booking without charge to you.

9. Payment

Prices are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GH₵). The price shown when you submit a request may be an estimate; the confirmed price is the one communicated to you at confirmation.

Accepted payment methods (such as Mobile Money, card, bank transfer or cash) will be communicated at confirmation. Only pay through channels confirmed by GoZi. GPMS will never ask you to pay into a personal account that has not been confirmed through official GoZi channels.

10. Refunds

  • Where a confirmed and paid booking is cancelled by GoZi or a Partner, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • Where you cancel a paid booking, any refund is the amount paid less any applicable cancellation fee.
  • Refund requests should be made with your booking reference within 14 days of the scheduled service date. Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method where possible.

11. Vehicle rental

  • Renters must hold a valid driving licence for the vehicle class and provide the identification requested.
  • A security deposit may be required; its amount and return conditions will be confirmed before handover.
  • The vehicle must be used lawfully, only by the authorised driver(s), and not for racing, towing, sub-letting, carrying paying passengers or any illegal purpose.
  • Fuel, tolls, parking charges and traffic fines incurred during the rental are the renter’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
  • The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and place. Late return may be charged.

12. Vehicle condition and damage

The vehicle’s condition should be checked and recorded (for example with photos) by the renter and the owner at handover and return. Report any existing damage before you drive away.

The renter is responsible for loss of or damage to the vehicle during the rental period caused by them or their authorised drivers, subject to any insurance cover confirmed for the booking. Accidents, theft and breakdowns must be reported to the Police where required by law, and to GoZi and the owner as soon as possible.

13. Driver responsibilities

  • Drive safely and lawfully at all times, including obeying speed limits and never driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Arrive on time, follow the agreed route or the customer’s reasonable instructions, and treat customers respectfully.
  • Not use a mobile phone while driving except hands-free as allowed by law.
  • Report any incident, accident or complaint to GoZi promptly.

14. G-Pool rules

  • G-Pool is a cost-sharing service. Drivers set a contribution per seat for a trip they are already making.
  • Passengers must be at the pickup point on time; drivers may leave after a reasonable wait.
  • Respect others in the car: no smoking, harassment, or carrying of prohibited items. Luggage is limited to what the driver agrees.
  • Drivers offering G-Pool trips must hold a valid licence and maintain the insurance required by law for carrying passengers.

15. Motorbike and delivery services

  • Riders must hold a valid licence and registration and provide a helmet for any passenger. Passengers must wear the helmet provided.
  • Motorbike services must be used in line with applicable Ghanaian laws and local regulations on commercial motorbike use.
  • Senders must accurately describe packages and must not send cash, valuables of exceptional value, illegal goods, weapons, hazardous materials, live animals or anything unsafe to carry on a motorbike.
  • Riders may refuse any package they reasonably believe is prohibited or unsafe. Liability for loss or damage to packages is limited as set out in section 19 unless otherwise agreed in writing.

16. Fraud

Fraud, including false identities, stolen payment details, fake bookings, impersonating GoZi staff, or attempting to obtain payment outside official channels, is strictly prohibited. We may cancel bookings, suspend accounts, withhold payments related to suspected fraud while we investigate, and report matters to the relevant authorities.

17. Prohibited activities

  • Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to transport illegal goods.
  • Harassment, threats, discrimination or violence towards any person.
  • Providing false information or creating multiple accounts to abuse the Platform.
  • Interfering with the Platform’s security or operation, or scraping its content.
  • Recording or sharing other users’ personal information without their consent.

18. Account suspension

We may suspend or close a customer or Partner account, or remove a listing, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, a safety concern has been raised, or we are required to by law. Where appropriate we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond.

19. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Ghanaian law, GPMS is not liable for the acts or omissions of Partners, or for loss or damage arising from services provided by Partners. GPMS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Where GPMS is found liable, our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount paid to GoZi for that booking. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

20. Third-party providers

The Platform relies on third parties such as payment providers, messaging services (for example WhatsApp), mapping and hosting providers. Their services are subject to their own terms. GPMS is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

21. Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, contact us first at gpmsgozi@gmail.com or 053 517 8253 with your booking reference. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

Disputes between a customer and a Partner should first be raised with GoZi so we can help resolve them. If a dispute with GPMS cannot be resolved by negotiation within 30 days, either party may refer it to mediation or arbitration under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798), without affecting either party’s right to approach the courts of Ghana.

22. Platform availability

We work to keep GoZi available and accurate, but the Platform is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable, interrupted or contain errors. We may carry out maintenance or updates at any time.

23. Changes to services and these terms

We may add, change or withdraw services, service areas and features. We may update these Terms from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page with its “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Bookings already confirmed are governed by the Terms in place when they were confirmed.

24. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Subject to section 21, the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
